5 months- a little late
The months just go by so fast I can't keep up. Addilyn is still doing great. She is still a champ sleeper at night and hopefully we'll soon transition to 2 naps a day and see if that helps her sleep a little longer during the day (instead of 30-45 minute naps). I can't complain though because she is not grumpy, it just would be nice for me. :) She has found a new love- her feet! Now that she rarely wears socks, she loves grabbing them. Her legs are getting really strong and she can hold on to things and stand up for awhile. She is getting closer to being able to sit up by herself. When she uses her hands to support herself she can sit for a minute. She loves looking in the mirrors and always gives herself big smiles. She loves reading books, getting sung to and thinks her Vitamin D drops are the greatest thing ever. She practically rips the dropper out of my hand. She also loves being outside and going on the swings. You know she is having a great time when her feet and legs kick like crazy. She now almost always sleeps on her tummy. She is really becoming a mover and loves to roll and scoot all around. Here are just some pictures from the last little bit.

So,so.... cute!
ReplyDeleteHarrison is now taking two long naps on most days. If he wakes up before he's slept an hour (like 30 minutes) I let him cry and fall back asleep. I read "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" and got him on the schedule/routine they say by this age. He is going from about 7:30-5:30 then I feed him and he goes back to sleep til about 7:30. Then he naps around 9:30 and 1:00 for at least an hour, usually closer to an hour and a half. It is a good schedule for us right now.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Addilyn is looking so cute as always. And, I'm glad someone else loves their feet. Harrison got all five toes in his mouth yesterday, and I wish I got a picture.
