9 months

We had her 9 month check up today. Hooray for no shots!!
*Weight: 15 lbs. (3%)
*Height: 25 1/2 in. (3%)
*Head: 44 cm. (50%)
I think the doctor has finally come to grips that Addilyn is going to be very small and petite.

Addi is 9 months! She has her doctors appt. next week so I'll add her stats then. She is so much fun and her personality continues to really come out. She has done quite a lot this month. She is pulling herself up everywhere, walks along furniture, and can climb stairs. She is starting to eat more table food and loving it. She still tolerates vegetables but loves fruits. She gives high-fives, claps and can wave. She got her top two teeth. She got sick for the first time this past month...it was really sad. We all got the stomach bug and she took it like a champ. We have been going to baby time at the library and she loves it. She is not a bit shy and will go up to anyone. She especially likes all the other babies and gives them lots of smiles. She is starting to understand "no" (instead of moving everything off the tables, I'm trying to just teach her not to touch them). We have been signing with her and she has done the sign "more" a couple times at the appropriate time...could be a fluke though. She also loves dropping toys off the side of her stroller and highchair and watching them fall. Her new favorite game is to climb up somewhere and fall straight back into Darrin. Luckily, she knows she can only fall back when he is there.

9 months

I went and got her pictures done at JcPennys. These are a few of them. Yes, I took pictures of the pictures since we don't have a scanner-hence the bad quality.

Sporting the "Pebbles" look.

We are frequent visitors to the pool with the triple digits we have down here.

I know this is really dark but I thought it was really funny how she was sleeping. Babies are so flexible!
Hanging out under the table.
She will put random toys in her mouth and keep them there for a long time while she goes about playing. I think this guy was in her mouth for a good half hour with never coming out.

As you can tell, she likes to climb on everything.

Darrin and I were taking advantage of her cuddliness when she was sick.

  2. She is just so stinkin' cute. And, I'm glad she handled being sick really well. It is no fun having a sick baby because they are so helpless.
