Christmas Happenings

Here are a few pictures of some things we did leading up to Christmas. It was a really fun year with Addilyn understanding everything. She had a lot of fun with our elf (Santa's little helper) and would love finding where he was each morning. She also loved all the decorations, advent calendar and putting up the tree. We talked a lot about why we celebrate Christmas and she would always remember to pray for baby Jesus. She was kind of indifferent about Santa. She had already seen him a couple times but I told her we were going to go see him again (I think at our church party). She said, "Mom, I have already seen him twice. I don't really like him anyways." However, she sat on his lap and acted excited at least. :) Silly girl!

Our town center had a little festival.  Abby and Addi riding the train.  It was chilly that night!

Darrin's work always does fun Christmas parties.  This year it was at the aquarium.  This was the same Mrs. Claus and Santa from last year.  They are really cute and nice!

Addi would tell every Santa that she saw that she wanted a doll.  (Good thing Grandma delivered).  Sadie didn't mind Santa either.

This is kind of random, but Addilyn had gotten the book Pinkalicious from Megan and Jon and loves it!  She has the coolest dad ever too and he makes her pink food!  She is all about the pink!

Darrin and I all dressed up to go to his work party.  Darrin felt like we were posing for prom. :)
