She is becoming such a big girl. I am amazed at how much she talks and all the sentences she says. A few of her most common phrases are: "I do it myself!", "Mom/Dad! Where are you? Come Here.", "I got it.", "No way" and "Stop it". (We are working on not saying those). She is very polite though and usually remembers to say thank you, please and no thank you. Addi is already to the "why" stage. She also always asks if you are okay if you cough or get hurt. She loves singing and can see lots of songs. Some of her favorites are: Baa Baa Black Sheep, Twinkle Little Star, ABC's, BINGO, I am a Child of God, Families can be together forever, Old McDonald Had a Farm, and signing time songs. She knows her ABC's and knows all her letters. We are working on the sounds now. She knows her colors and some shapes and can count to 10. She still loves airplanes and always points them out. She is also really obsessed with the moon and is always looking for it. The week after her birthday I took away her binkies. She was still using them at naps and night but she really did well. There was crying for the first couple nights but is doing great and hasn't asked for them. We had her check-up and she is of course still really small. She weighed 20 lbs. 4 oz. but was 32 1/2 inches (I'm not sure how accurate that was though because she jumped up to the 50 %). She is really into coloring right now and loves play-doh. She loves puppies and does a high pitch bark whenever she sees them. We love you Addi girl!!

Addi's 2nd Birthday
Addilyn turned 2 on October 30th! We had a low key birthday with Grandma and Mac, Starr, Connor and Abby. Addi really got into opening her presents and has been loving all her new toys.

Putting on some of her make-up.
She is really into singing and has been loving the microphone that goes with the keyboard. If you didn't see the video- look down a couple posts.
We decided to just go with ice cream cones which she loves.
She has been loving this puppy with a sleeping bag.

It is so funny how kids the same age can be so different. Harrison didn't care about opening his presents at all. He wanted to wrestle with grandpa instead. Ha!
ReplyDeleteShe's still so tiny, but SO cute! I can't believe she's 2 already! Lexie was obsessed with the moon around that age, too, and I thought it was so random. So that's weird to hear that Addi is, too!
