NYC

Back in September my mom, sister and I took a girls trip to NYC. None of us had ever been there before so it was the perfect spot. We were saying after how it wasn't really a relaxing trip- we were really busy, but it was very nice with no kiddos. The first day we went to Live with Regis and Kelly which was a lot of fun! Taylor Lautner and Minka Kelly were the guests with a pre-recorded segment of Celine Dion. I told Darrin afterwards that Taylor Lautner is just as good looking in person as you would think. :) Regis and Kelly were very interactive and would come talk with the audience during all the breaks. After that, we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. That night we went to Little Italy which was really fun because it was during their festival. The next day we walked around Central Park and then went shopping down 5th Avenue. That night we went to Times Square and to see Mary Poppins. It was really good! The last day we went to where the world trade centers were. The memorial had just opened so we couldn't get tickets but I'm sure it was really neat. Then we went to Canal street and all got new "fake" purses. It was a great trip and so fun to go with my mom and sister!

It was supposed to rain everyday we were there but only ended up raining one day which was nice.
